Mafuthi Foundation is a national NPO support and social-impact platform that equips community-based organisations with the funding readiness, technology, governance, skills and operational systems needed to deliver sustainable programmes.

Who we are

Mafuthi was created from compassion, service and a desire to uplift underserved communities. We are focused on restoring dignity and creating hope.

Why we exist

Community NPOs know their communities best, but many struggle with registration, governance, financial controls, reporting and digital tools. Funders need to trust that money is used properly. Mafuthi closes that gap.

How we work

The mother-organisation model

Mafuthi builds, equips, funds and guides specialist NPOs. Those NPOs deliver programmes directly.

Mafuthi does

Builds the brand, digital presence and donor relationships
Screens, appoints and monitors partner NPOs
Provides governance, compliance and financial-support systems
Helps partners prepare grant proposals and donor reports
Provides IT tools, branding, marketing and training
Mobilises grants and distributes funds under clear agreements

Partner NPOs do

Deliver direct services to beneficiaries
Specialise in one core programme area
Maintain local community relationships and field teams
Implement approved projects and collect evidence
